Running with Running in the Burbs

Running in the Burbs structures the training programme and social events around a number of key events during the year.  In order to prepare members for these events, the training programmes are targetted to building up to the specific races on the calendar.  These races generally have marathon and half-marathon distances and training programmes and runs are specifically designed to support runners attempting those distances at a variety of paces and target finishing times.

Training

The normal weekly training program incorporates a Monday night group run, a Wednesday night quality / speed session and a long run on Saturday mornings with an excursion run every month.  More details on training times and locations on the Training Programmes page.
